Tricia Hise Announces for State Senate District 50

Tricia Hise announced today her plans to run for the Senate District 50 seat. Hise is a native of
Habersham County, having been a member of FFA at HCHS where she learned invaluable
lessons of responsibility, hard work, and reliability. She graduated from the University of
Georgia with a BA in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law
School. Hise is an attorney and she dedicates her professional and personal life to the service of
others.

“I am a Christian conservative, dedicated to the principles of the Constitution, including our
guaranteed right to bear arms under the 2nd Amendment. I believe in protecting all life and will
work tirelessly to defend our Constitution, to protect the unborn, to promote businesses,
including our number one business – agriculture. I thank my friend and statesman Senator John
Wilkinson for his tireless work for our district and I wish him the best in his run for Congress. I
am known as the ‘Bulldog in the Courtroom’ and I look forward to serving you as your Bulldog
in the Senate as I earn your vote,” said Hise.

Hise serves on the Board of the Habersham Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Governmental
Affairs Committee. She has held state board positions on the Georgia State Property
Commission and the Georgia Building Authority. Hise formerly served as assistant district
attorney for the Mountain Judicial Circuit and she supports law enforcement and Backs the
Badge. Hise is actively involved in the local and district Republican Party, serves as the Women
for Trump Chair for Habersham, served as delegate to the Republican State Convention for many
years, serves as Co-Parliamentarian for the 9th District GOP, and fiercely fights for conservative
values throughout SD50 and the state. Hise is a graduate of the 2019 Republican Leadership for
Georgia for which she serves as Class President, is a 2018 graduate of the Zell Miller Leadership
Institute, and Leadership Habersham.

Hise is deeply commitment to victims of domestic violence and has donated countless hours of
pro bono legal services to victims in need through the Circle of Hope, F.A.I.T.H., and
Powerhouse for Kids. She is Past President of the Mountain Judicial Circuit Bar Association.
Currently, Hise serves as Attorney Coach for the student members of the Habersham Central
Mock Trial Team, a role which requires investment in the youth and brings great reward and joy.

Hise is married to her supporting husband, Nathan Dilday, who is an agricultural lender; they
reside in Cornelia with their son, Max. Hise is a partner in the law firm Hotard & Hise based in
Clarkesville and she and her family attend First Baptist Church of Cornelia.
